"A majority of people in the US think Iraq aided al-Qaida before the war and had weapons of mass destruction."

such ignorance and stupidity in a country whose President sees himself as carrying out the will of his God makes me shudder for the future of the world

this is surely the biggest threat to Western civilisation since the emergence of the 3rd Reich

It's my understanding you are not a citizen of the U.S. Your visions on this matter are as an outsider. I think the majority of Americans know we were fed bogus information regarding Iraq's involvement with al-Qaida. I think 911 had us all on high alert. Maybe you would be a bit more ignorant if it was your country that was so hated.

i'm not a citizen of the US, but i've lived and worked there and been to every mainland state except Alaska

i'm not sure that the majority of Americans _do_ know about the bogus info on al-Qaida - polls i've seen show that the majority of US citizens think there was a link between the previous Iraqi regime and fundamentalist groups such as al_Qaida

it's the foreign policies of the current administration that's hated rather than the US or its citizens

PS IMHO countries are just tax zones, and only those people affected by its tax system can really be justified in liking or disliking it - the idea of loving or hating a country seems bizarre to me
