how strange it is, that most people in most countries consider their own country to be superior to all others -- it seems to me that every country has its good points and its bad points, and these are changing all the time -- i used to want to go to the moon before it had half a dozen US flags stuck in it

Same often goes for cities, as I realized when sitting alongside somebody from Oklahoma City who was praising its laurels. Just as well we're like that when you think about it, especially if we ever lose the ability to travel from place to place with ease.
hi Greg, haha! yes, i'm sure some of the things i rail against have (or at least have had) uses of which i'm unaware lol
